Mick Hucknall sings American Soul will be touring the UK and Ireland in April with shows in Dublin, York, Brighton, Portsmouth, Birmingham, Ipswich, Cardiff, Bristol, Nottingham, Glasgow, Newcastle and (of course) Manchester.
These shows go on general sale this Friday 27th July but we’ve arranged a presale for you from 9am tomorrow (Wed 25th).

Mick Hucknall will be performing an intimate album preview/rehearsal/warm up of “Mick Hucknall sings American Soul” at the Scala in London King’s Cross on Saturday 8th September.
They are only 500 tickets available for this, all standing, all only available here in our official shop from 8am GMT tomorrow morning (20th July).
Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis (maximum 4 tickets per household).
Please note that the venue do not allow entry to anyone Under 18.
Doors 5pm, Show 6pm and the show will last for 45 minutes to 1 hour max (Mick will play all the tracks from his forthcoming album “Mick Hucknall sings American Soul” for the first time anywhere).

Two extra nights are to be added to the Proms schedule in Germany this December – Mick will also be appearing on Saturday December 22nd at Frankfurt Festhalle and Sunday December 23rd at Oberhausen Arena.

Mick will be singing for Jimmy White at his testimonial being held at the Grosvenor Hotel in Park Lane on Saturday 2nd June – see here for more details. Mick has been confirmed as one of the artists appearing at the Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park one day festival this year which is being held on Sunday 9th September. He will be performing some of the songs from his forthcoming “Mick Hucknall sings American Soul” album and others performing include Jessie J, Paloma Faith and Emeli Sande.

We have been overwhelmed by the massive demand for tickets for Mick’s ‘American Soul’ concert at the Royal Albert Hall which SOLD OUT faster than any of his previous shows with Simply Red. We apologise to everyone who had patiently been trying to buy tickets but ended up disappointed but we are delighted to announce that the venue has now been made available for a second night on 19th September and tickets for this are now on sale.

Mick Hucknall announces his first solo concert, to be performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London for one night only, on September 18th 2012. This hails the beginning of a new chapter for ex-Simply Red frontman Hucknall after the final curtain fell on Simply Red at their triumphant sell-out Farewell Tour in December 2010. On what promises to be a very special night in Hucknall’s glittering career, he will showcase his forthcoming new solo album ‘American Soul’, featuring his own take on classic songs which have inspired him throughout his life. The Royal Albert Hall is without doubt the most prestigious and beautiful live venue in London and has been the host to the most revered artists of our time, drawn from every musical genre; a fitting venue for the launch of the exciting next phase in Mick Hucknall’s extraordinary career.

This evening, Saturday May 5th at 9pm ET, HBO will air the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Small Faces / Faces, featuring Mick Hucknall on vocals, were inducted during the ceremony, which was filmed on April 14th at the Public Hall in Cleveland.
