Mick has confirmed that he will be appearing at the Night of the Proms shows in Belgium and Holland this autumn. Featuring a full size symphonic orchestra, 24-piece choir and 8 piece band on stage, this is a truly unique musical experience.
The Belgian shows take place at the Antwerp Sportpalace, with a 14,000 capacity, while the Holland dates are at the Rotterdam Ahoy, with a 11,000 capacity.
Mick will be sharing the stage in Antwerp with Seal and Angie Stone, along with the Il Novecento orchestra, conducted by Robert Groslot, the Fine Fleur choir, Proms-veteran John Miles and soprano quartet Div4s. In Rotterdam, Mick will be headlining a cast consisting of James Blunt and Angie Stone.
Night of the Proms has established itself as leading yearly musical event in Belgium, Holland and Germany since the start, 26 years ago. The unique mix of classical and contemporary music has resulted in special performances by Andrea Bocelli, Sting, James Brown, Sinead O’Connor, Zucchero and many others.
