I love Mike and his band…great music, but I was unable to attend his Australia concert, which I hear was fantastic, since I live in Trinidad West Indies. I would like to purcahse the DVD of the tour. Please let me know when it would be ready. I would appreciate it very very much. I hope its way before Christmas, so it can get here by Christmas…want it as a gift. Thanks
Had to drag my husband along kicking and screaming as it is not his style of music at all. Halfway through the night he leaned over and said “He’s got a great voice” WELL DUH!!!!!!! Micks voice was amazing and sent a little shiver up my spine. When he san “Stars” toward the end he was looking straight into a camera at one stage so it felt he was singing straight at you. That Sax player OMG he was brilliant! Marcia was awesome — felt very sorry for the warm up act tho. Sandalford should not put a soloist up there. Needs a group. She must have felt very alone.
Mick is the best , his voice was brilliant as always, loved the opening song, one of my favourites. Mick looked gorgeous in his light coloured suite and blue shirt. Simply Red will be very sadly missed, Mick don’t let me down, make sure you come back to Perth.
What a night it was listening to Mick and his band at Sandalford!!! Love all your songs and they are still fresh and really great to listen to. So glad we were able to come and enjoy you and your band Mick. Marcia Hines was just brilliant as well. Lucky us were in the VIP seats so had a great spot.…. Thank you to Simply Red for 25 years of entertainment, I grew up listening to you and have loved every song. Saw Simply Red for the second time at Sandalford — my only complaint was that they didn’t play for long enough! Amazing voice, amazing band, amazing music — thank you. Wishing you all the best from here on, enjoy a well deserved break with your families.

Fantastic concert as always. Great venue for an Australian send off. Thankyou for 25 years of the best in music. Please come back to Perth Mick in your future ventures, enjoy a hard earned rest at the end of the year, you deserve it, but dont stay away from music for too long.

This was the third Simply Red concert I have been since coming to Australia from England and it was just as good as the first. How do you keep your voice sounding amazing Mick? If this is going to be your last concert then you will be certainly missed over here. Thanks for the music to you and your band.
Just witnessed a truly professional group of musicians last night in West Australia at Sandalford Wineries. Mick is sounding better than ever, he brought a little bit of england to sunny Australia. What an absolutley amazing show. Mick and the boys gave us a fantastic farewell performance. I hope Perth gave you an outstanding send off!!! I was at the Sandalford concert last night. Mick and all the musicians — great musicianship and professionalism but I did feel that the concert was a little short — about 1hour, 15minutes. So many more songs we didn’t hear? It did seem like Mick and the band were feeling a little tired and worn and just didn’t have that ‘zing’ of life and energy but hey, we all get older and are only human! Also, a pity about the venue — too many people for such a large space so that we could not only not see the band but hardly even the screen properly because of the crowds. Not the most enjoyable situation to be in, not being able to spend any more than I could for the tickets. Bön voyage to a great era in music!

Absolutely loved it, loved it, loved it. Mick and the band were awesome as expected. Pity that it has been 14 years since I saw them last but you didnt disappoint. Really wished that it could of kept going for another hour or two.

And if you want to do a John Farnham trick and have this as your farewell tour and then come back again, we will forgive you…lol

Just got home from a great night out. Mick was sensational, and all the muso’s in the band rock. Steve Lewinson would have to be the best bass guitarist I have ever seen, such a groove he has.
