Sorry Mick, sorry my dear Daveeee, sorry IIan,Kevin,Pete,Steve and Kenji for having been to all the 5 concerts up here in Brazil, and unbelievably,up to now,June 05,couldn’t manage to write all the REVIEWS on each one of the MARVELLOUS concerts you guys presented to us Brazilians…
Good news is that, I’ve already written BH, RJ, SP and right now,Brasília…missing only RECIFE…
THIS will be the last one ’cause it was THE FIRST ONE out of the 5 aaaaaaaaand it was WHERE, in amazing & beautiful city RECIFE,I’ve had the chance to meet you all &talk to the 6 members of the band and take many pictures and it was like HEAVEN !! A “dream come true” for me,staying at the same hotel you guys were,seeing you around all the time and I could see for myself,right in front of my very eyes,what so maany fans have beeing saying about you guys over these years,all over the World : All Reddies say that you are absolutely lovely and I could “feel” it myself,while talking to you…

I’m from Uruguay and I’ll be seeing them in Argentina next Monday. I hope they sing “you make me feel brand new” and “for your babies”, I think I’m not the only one asking for these songs… I enjoy all simply red’s songs but these two make me feel really emotional and I think they cannot be left out. I still can’t believe it! can’t wait to see them!
Well, the show at Brasília was fantastic!! Celebrated my birthday on great style! You guys have so many great songs that it’s impossible to pick one to say “that’s my favorite”, but I can say that “Fake”, “Stars” and “The right thing” were just amazing at the concert. Great band, great show. To me was just amazing!

Foi muito bom o show. Concordo com Túlio B:foi curto o show, frente ao garnde número de musicas que foram e são, até, hoje, sucesso.
Gostei de ver a cena em que um pai, fã da banda, levantou o filho menor em seu ombro, para apreciar melhor.
O que é bom, romântico, suave, e ao mesmo tempo capaz de energizar os jovens pelo ritmo encantador,permanece e passa de uma a outra geração.
Diante de tanta platéia (mundial), com certeza farão novas incursões musicais.

No puedo creer que espere 10 años para verlos y que no toquen canciones tales como “say you love me” “it´s only love” “so not over you” “you make me feel brand new” y otras que canto en la gira anterior. No se si vale la pena viajar 800 km y realizar el gasto que me ocasiona si ten go que ver este show, pense que, como el año pasado no vino a ARGENTINA, ahora repetiria el show, pero si es este de Brasil… me defraudaran!

Wonderfull experience!Although they didn’t play “For your babies” the set list was amazing!Hits like “Stars”, “Holding back the years” and “Something got me started” were brilliantly played by the Lake Paranoá.
Hucknall is very energetic and always ready to rumble with his amazing band. A sophisticated concert!

What have you guys done to us on that stage?? It’s magic, as simple as that. Simply Red is my drug, and will ever be, no matter what. Pity it’s over, but still waiting for your new projects… We’ll miss SR!
Oooopss!!! Thank God they DID NOT LEAVE Fairground out.
Unfortunately, Simply Red concerts are always very short. That is (almost) unforgivable given the number of great songs (some are hits, some aren’t) that they recorded over the years. On the other hand — but also as usual, Mick and his boys had a great presence, not to mention a particularly satisfying rapport with the audience. They always seem to be enjoying themselves. Mick is looking particularly jovial and energetic. And he’s sporting very charming glasses and looking like a true rock star.
What was unusual in Brasília — and did not help the band much — was the poor quality of sound. The local organizers are partly to blame. But it seems the venue (open-air) had something to do with it.
