Words cannot express how wonderful of a time I had on this vacation. My wonderful husband looked up Simply Red, found out about this Jazz Fest, asked me if I wanted to go, and the next thing you know, there we were!

Yes, the heat was bad, and it was midnight when he played, but I would do it all over again, in a heartbeat!!!

What awesome music, what a great concert, what a wonderful island!

My daughter Michelle & I travelled from Vancouver Canada (west coast) to see the North Sea Jazz Festival. The prime motivator(s) was the appearance of Simply Red. Saw them in Toronto Canada in ’92. Their performance at the jazz festival in Curaçao was ABSO FABU! Hot songs for a hot night. Mick your voice only gets better with age. Please have one more “Final Tour”. Will go back to Curaçao if need be :)

    Great evening!

North Sea Jazz was a great event with a lot of great stars.
Looking forward to see you in Holland in December.
The preformance was great and indeed there are a lot of great songs left to play.

Thank you for your visit to Curaçao.
I will miss your great songs and sound.

First time to see Simply Red live. You were really fantastic, despite the heat on Curaçao! I really liked Mick’s rough soul voice. It’s only become better over the years. Many great songs, lovely suit and great sax-player. Thank you for coming to our island!

  5. Please play So Not Over You, Fairground, Sunrise, Home, Fake, Say You Love Me, Star, If You Don’t Know Me By Now, You Make Me Feel Brand New in Tokyo >.< We already bought your greatest hits album! Can’t wait to see your performance in 25 September!!

Excellent concert. The first time I have been able to hear them live. I wished they had played “She’s got it bad” but all in all a wonderful show with Mick and the band giving all they had on the stage. I wish they would come to the USA to perform. I know I would definitely go see them again. I really can’t say enough about the show, just very intense and Mick’s voice sounds even better live than the studio recordings.

  7. Chantal says:

Fantastic concert! Great sound, superb voice. Too bad it’s a farewell tour.

  8. Hubert says:

Saw him playing live again after 24 years. As good as 24 yrs ago. This concert was excellent.
A bit short because many many good songs were not played.
Let us hope he will do a second farewell tour.
