A wonderful Summer’s night that I shall remember for a long time to come. Couldn’t have wished for better weather and couldn’t have wished for a better band. A great venue, probably the best outside one I have been to and the atmosphere was fantastic! Mick is an outstanding singer and he and the band never fail to give a top class performance. Looking forward to December for my final SR fix. Double dose!

A brilliant evening and Mick still sounds amazing live. Saw a concert in Wembley over 20 years ago and do think this was even better. Also excellent backing musicians, so skilled, a real joy to listen to. I was recently asked which was my favourite record of all time and would have to say ‘holding back the years’. Think also that ‘money’s too tight to mention’ will be even more relevant over the next few years!!

Great night finally got to see simply red, a long but worth while wait. What a great voice live.
Another excellent gig sadly short set due to horse races beforehand. Nightmare drive down due to clash with F1 races at Silverstone and A43 being closed off — 3 3/4 hour drive to cover 150 miles! Detours, accidents and the heat! Well worth it though as met up with SR friends old and new who kindly saved me a place front and centre! Getting to like this real close up view! Excellent evening and pics should be on FB later.

Well,I did get out — eventually! My head is still buzzing from another fantastic evening — very hot during long wait — but worth every minute. Good atmosphere in the crowd and even a little bit of space to move about to the brilliant sounds — as I do! Now looking forward to hearing Mick sing some different songs at Goodwood Vintage.
