A Very Magical Evening To Be Cherished By My Wife and I Forever! I bought those tickets for her 50th birthday present and we centered our 2 weeks in London, Edinburgh and Dublin around this concert. Our 10th row seats enhanced a performance that was truly unforgettable. Mick is Simply a cherished and unique vocal that we traveled from Cleveland to see. Kudos to the suited guy that did what I wanted too and that was to stand, enjoy and applaud a truly great talent of our generation! All the best in the Future Mick!
This was an awesome night, Mick and the boys were fantastic and even though it started to rain towards the end nobody cared cos the performance was magic! After the concert I proposed to my girlfriend Laura and she said Yes! A truly memorable night :-)
This is the fifth time I have seen them from fairly small beginnings in Hanover, in a small hall, Mick, Fritz McIntyre et al. Twice in Dortmund and then open air in Cologne and I have never been disappointed. Great singer and good musicians throughout the bands various reincarnations. Sorry they are calling it day, however the memories of The Castle will remain
Finally, I have attended a Simply Red concert, after 25 years of listening to the records. I thank you for all the lyrics and music that have meant so much to me over the years. I can only regret that it took so long for me to attend a concert.
Got back to our B & B soaking wet from the rain but very happy.

Another awesome show by Mick and the guys — dancing all night to his wonderful vocals and great music. I can honestly say that SIMPLY RED live is even better than the recordings … Fantastic atmosphere — need to book another gig — thanks for another great night that I will always remember :)
Our seats were upgraded to the tiered seats to the right hand side of the stage — Saw Mick coming across the bridge and he waved to us — He then blew us a kiss when we called to him !
Awesome show ! Loved every minute of it ! Mick knows how to work a crowd — He still has it in Every Way !!!!!!!
We danced and sang all night — Cheers to the bloke on the other side of the tiered seats for standing up to security and have a wee boogie — he had us all laughing !!

My first gig ever at the castle and what a gig to pick. Lucky enough to have seen simply red many times over the years mostly recently at the braehead arean in glasgow and will be back at the secc in dec. felt very emotional throughout. yes in other gigs thy have been on stage much longer and that sure was dissappointing but nevertheless a wonderful night. thanks to suitman forsorting the dancing for us.
What a brilliant concert. First time seeing Simply Red — want to see them again. Mick your voice is amazing. Loved listening to you for 25 years now finally got to hear you sing live. Amazing. Loved the dancing man he made us all dance and laugh. Very enjoyable. An experience I will never forget. Are you sure you should be breaking up?

Travelled up from Manchester to visit my sister who had bought my ticket and a stay in nice hotel as a birthday present for my recent big 50 ! when it was announced you had to stay seated, my sis n I thought OH NO !! 3 CHEERS to suited man, who started dancing, with Micks approval, then the whole crowd was up as usual, Mick and band absolutely rocked the Castle, belting out great selection of his hit.
Looking forward to December and seeing you all again. Dont call it a day ! Mick, my sis n i will have nothing too look

Iwas at the edinburgh castle with my wife to see simplyred and could not believe how great mick hucknell was his voice awesome and the band too best concert and what a setting for them

good gig but have to say in these tough economic times 1 hour 25 mins including encores is pretty poor value for money.
If Springsteen can play 3 hours and MCartney 2 hours 45 at their ages then Mick at 50 should do better
The Edinburgh Castle Concert was (as always) fabulous! I was sitting a few seats away from the “lone dancer” so had a fantastic view of the gorgeous Mick &, as always, Holding Back the Years made me cry. Unfortunately it was all over too quick (story of my life Ha! Ha!) & I’ve been depressed since because I realise that when I go to see Simply Red in December at the SECC that will be my last ever S.R.Concert!!!! (Don’t say forever!)
This was the first time i had seen Simply Red in concert
and i wasn’t disappointed.It was a fantastic show.He sang
all the hits.My friends and i were singing along to all the songs that we knew.What i want to know is who the support
act was as no-one introduced them.The female had a really good voice.We were up dancing too, the stewards eventually gave up.I would love to see them again at the Secc.The rain
didn’t put us off.
The performance of Heaven was amazing and traveling to Scotland just to see you guys was fantastic for the country is really great. Thank you guys and I’ll see you on at least two (maybe three) more occasions. Cheers,
A fabby night, even with the rain there wasn’t a disapointment. Sang all the greatest hits including our wedding waltz which bought back memories.
Just booked Friday 10th Dec @ Glasgow SEC.
Well Simply Red certainly didn’t dissapoint, Mick is just AMAZING only dissapointment was that I didn’t get to meet him awe XX

No words can express how bril Mick can sing — fab night from Simply Red. It was my 10 year old son’s first concert and he loved it. Cant wait to see the guys again in Glasgow — there wont be a dry eye in the house! Linda, Thomas and Matthew, Glasgow
Got back last night after a wonderful weekend in the great city of Edinburgh. What a setting for Mick and the band…perfect!!! Excellent setlist — especially Enough, To Be With You and Out On The Range (the perfect opener). All the boys were on top form and Mick was utterly amazing…there was an awesome silence at the end of Heaven when he held that note for what seemed like forever!!!! That brought down the house (or should I say the castle??)As others have said “Well done to the lone dancer” who made Mick laugh and when he said “Well I’m standing too” we didn’t need any further encouragement to join him!! Even the rain held off until the encores — Mick said he needed a shower by then!!
So thank you Simply Red for another memorable night, now I’m looking forward to Ireland, then six nights travelling around the UK in December!!! Special thanks to Kevin, Dave and Pete — thanks guys for your time.

Brilliant night at Edinburgh Castle, Mick and all the band on great form. Amazing voice what more can you say. Great crowd and well done that man at the front of the stand for getting up and refusing to say no. Can’t wait for December next time we see you.
Fantastic gig — no bling or spin just class! God bless the guy in the stand that wouldnt say no ! “For your babies” now has an extra memory for me!!
