This spring Simply Red will play their last ever dates in Latin America.

Mick Huck­nall says “I love the vibe there, the people are so amaz­ingly friendly and the con­nec­tion I feel with the audi­ence is incred­ible. I’ve played some of the biggest shows of my life there, I’ve made videos there, and had hol­i­days there — it will always be a spe­cial part of the world for me. I’m really look­ing for­ward to these shows and hav­ing the chance to say good­bye to our fans in that part of the world, and to thank them for all the sup­port they’ve shown Simply Red over the years.”

Simply Red per­formed at the Golden Cam­era Awards in Ber­lin yes­ter­day night as well as receiv­ing a “Life’s Work” award. The 45th Award­ing of THE GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU was hos­ted by enter­tainer Hape Ker­kelling and broad­cast live on TV from 20.15 on the ZDF channel.
