great night had by all at simply red in cardiff. mick was simpley fantastic, sadly it ended too quickly. my only complaint was the rather loud mouthed gentlemen sitting next to us with his poor wife. all he did was complain about the women sitting in front of him, which spoiled our enjoyment of the evening. he was extremely foul mouthed and i can see from comments that he has put himself hs name is bleddyn wade. well mr wade all i can say is those women in front of you were actually talking about you and your long suffering partner, and your rude manners, foul mouth and comtinuous swearing!!!!
i would rather have driven to manchester or birmingham or even london that have to sit there next to you and listen to your lud overpowering voice and obscene language. thankyou very much for ruining everyone arouns your evening.

fab weekend from tetbury down to cardiff and a wondefully summery afternoon with a few cold beers awaiting the show.
fab set list — would only ask to try and squeeze you’ve got it in so as to make it perfect!!!
good crowd and decent atmosphere from the first “arena” venue of the uk leg so far.
always puzzled as to why the stewards let a few but not all down to the front — no whinges though — a great weekend was had — took a friend to their first ever show and she was knocked back and “surprised”???!!! at how fantastic the boys were.
well we continue to do our work and spread the word.
Back in the North West this evening, after a quick visit to my home city of Cardiff. As usual, Mick and the band did not disappoint, so my Mam thoroughly enjoyed her last SR concert, and my 2010 season of concerts is off to a fantastic start.
Have always loved it that the set changes, making each concert a bit different, and the atmosphere is always brilliant. Us Taffies seemed to be even shyer getting to our feet than last year, but hopefully Mick and the guys could hear us singing along from the start.
Mick’s voice was, as ever, amazing and Ian, Dave, Kenji, Kevin, Pete and Steve performed brilliantly, whether on solo or producing the SR sound.
Looking forward to Cannock Chase next.

well i have been very lucky to see one of the first concerts in london and even luckier to see the last concert in cardiff, what a fantastic night both me and my sister were in heaven with the performance of mick and his band super voice super show just a shame that they will be finished at the end of the year, thanks mick and the boys amazing night

1st time for me, my wife loves Mick, loves the band, loves the music, her night. As someone who has seen many bands over the last 30 years, I thought the set last night was outstanding, a real top live band. A fantastic night.

What a fantastic night! Probably one of the best concerts we’ve been to this year! Mick Hucknell still has an AMAZING voice and the band are absolutely fantastic!

I also meant to mention that the supporting act Diane Birch was really good as well as Simply Red, its a shame the two women who were sat infront of me couldn’t stop talking, maybe they would have appreciated her as much as I did.
what can you say apart from you have an icon in all his glory.majestic superb stage presence.fabulous band.in 20 years i can say i was at their last welsh show.
Hi, My partner and I have just come home from the Simply Red Tour in Cardiff, and I have to say it was probably the best live band I have EVER seen. We really loved the performance by the whole band, Nick clearly gave it his all, very expressive about the whole perfromance. We loved it, Just wished he had stayed on for a bit longer, as we wanted to hear more of his songs. Brill night. We hope one day he will return to Wales.
Well let this not be the last time we see Mick in Cardiff as he and the rest of the band were fantastic! Great to hear the old one’s again from Picture Book! It was 25 years the last time I saw Mick in Cariff St Davids Hall with support by Terence Trent Darby and tonights show was every bit as good! Please Mick come back!
