great weather, great setting, great band what more could you ask for. Looking forward to NIA in December thought last year in Birmingham would be the last opportunity to see Mick so the 2 concerts this year have been a Brucie bonus. Still think Simply Red are better than the faces though xx
Second of my Outdoor tour of gigs and closest one to my home. Thanks to Neil and Sue Smith for the hospitality at this concert. Sharing their wine with me was most kind. Fantastic weather and a wonderful concert with Mick despite suffering a chest infection giving a faultless performance. he and the boys seem to be really enjoying this tour.
Great view from front and centre and got some great pictures of the concert.
Good also to meet fellow fans at the concert and another thoroughly enjoyable night, Sad to know its the final tour, been a fan since 85 and Picture Book sorry to see it coming to an end!
I came over from Germany to enjoy at least one SR open air concert this year and it was well worth it. What a fabulous night — great setting, brilliant weather, the band in excellent form and Mick superb as usual despite his chest infection. Everyone seemed to have a great time — both on and off stage! Well done! Special thanks for playing “Out on the range” and “Enough”! See you again in Germany in November!
Tying to get set list up for this concert but not appearing as yet.
Also for anyone in West Mids, BRILLIANT review in Express & Star.(Saturday)

Oh what a show!
Chest infection didn’t matter one bit,oh boy can’t he sing!!!!!
Over 20 years of personally seeing tours and the voice is still quite simply outstanding!

What can I say, Just Fabulous even with the chest infection, everyone got into the mood and thoroughly enjoyed the music. Great to hear some of the old ones I absolutely love. After endless times of going to your concerts I’m never dissapionted didn’t even notice the hour and a half wait to get out of the car park, still on cloud nine. Love Ya loads Mick and congratulations on the marriage. Wendy T x x x
Like Mick said, it was ‘Wonderful, Wonderful!’. Smiled, clapped, sang and danced all the way through. Band were brilliant and good to hear some songs we’ve not heard live before, like ‘Enough’. ‘Heaven’ hasn’t been a favourite of mine, but hearing/seeing it live brought it to life — fantastic! A great setting — huge orange moon rising through the trees behind the stage. Bliss!

A great night at Cannock. Mick has a chest infection and was worried about HBTY but it was great, so was HEAVEN — my fave — what a performance!!!! Fantastic solos and show overall, as always. Highlights, the red balloons passed over the stage-front crowd onto the stage and back again. Mick’s references: called us ‘NUTTERS!’ The WC footie dilemma in the Hucknall household on Sunday — “my wife’s German!“
Thank you for visiting the Midlands again, hope you enjoy your visits as much as we enjoy attending the gigs. Looking forward to the NIA in December.
Another fantastic night, brilliant weather, good venue, Mick and the boys on top form as ever. Went with some girlie friends, two had never seen the band before but absolutely loved it. We managed to get close to the front, great view.
I agree with previous poster, everyone DID have a “real good time.“
Looking forward to December now,Birmingham, Manchester and London, UNLESS can manage one befroe then.

Just back home after another fantastic show. Amazing weather; great setting. Despite his chest infection, Mick was spectacular as always. From where I was standing, it felt as though Mick, the band and the crowd all had a ‘real good time’!
Looking forward to Delamere Forest next.
