Another fantastic performance by Mick and the boys with some interesting new pieces. Particularly liked the bluesy song with the harmonica. Also stonking was “The Shooter” and “Anna” – so beautifully delivered. Great to hear some more of the Bobby Bland tribute songs too along with a few classics! Shame the audience seemed to be comatose for the main part of the show – so very reserved! Hang loose people and get into the music! Can’t wait for the new album. Support act was interesting too – good length set with a nice variety.

As always Mick and his band were absolutely sensational! After seeing Simply Red’s last concert at the o2 we were very sad indeed, but looking forward to Mick’s new projects. A truly magical night (front road seat)!! Loved all the American Soul songs and of course our old favourites, really hope your new album comes out soon!! We were disappointed that some of the audience didn’t participate however that did not stop us from thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Got lots of smiles and encouragment from keyboard Dave, fantastic!! Probably that was because as my daughter told me, I was singing throughout the whole concert! Enjoy the rest of this amazing tour Mick, we look forward to the next one!! Love & hugs from 2 of the dancers!! xx
